Housed in an early 19th-century villa, Gothicsauna is a place of wellness and relaxation that favors the encounters between gay and bisexual men. SPA area, quality materials, technology, and professional equipment. Entirely devoted to wellness with all the commodities, it offers a Finnish sauna, a Turkish bath/hammam, a Jacuzzi, large spaces that include a labyrinth path, private cabins, snack-bar, lounges with TV, smoking area, and XXX cinema.

To offer to our gay and bi customers a space of encounter, an oasis of peace and relaxation with all comforts, at a reasonable price. Constant attention for maximum hygiene and daily cleaning. To create a pleasant working environment for the staff by offering them good social coverage.

Our story

Gothicsauna was opened at the end of December 1996, with the interior design of the architect Leonardo Modena – www.leonardomodena.com – that has left an innovative mark that is still distinctive after nearly 30 years. Gothicsauna has been renovated regularly with the addition of quality materials, technology, and professional equipment, to maintain high standards of excellence. The venue is also distinguished by a constant search for innovation, with exclusive ideas, such as the world premiere installation of a foam room in 1997.

Now approaching 30 years in business, our centre looks to the future with confidence. This is thanks to the optimal reputation acquired over the years, having accumulated, thus, a large number of loyal customers due to our attention to every detail, the sense of hospitality, the quality and pleasantness of the rooms, the friendliness of the staff, the events and the always new opportunities for encounters. An ulterior point of strength of Gothicsauna is its optimal accessibility: train connections to Zurich in less than two hours, also frequent trains to Italy, near the Lugano’s FFS station, and wide availability of parking spots. The sauna always has surprises reserved for its guest – announced through the main social media channels – and supports important projects destined for the LGBT community.
